Class Descriptions:
Tin Lizzie 18; Learn how to use the Tin Lizzie 18 so that you can rent her to quilt your own quilt tops. This class covers everything from loading your quilt to loading your bobbin. You will also learn different techniques for quilting and safety measures for using the machine. The class is $50.00 and you can rent the machine for $10.00/hr and a $5.00 thread fee.
Quilting 101; This is a beginner class. You will learn to pick fabrics, sew a 1/4' seam, add borders, quilt and bind your quilt. You will need all basic sewing supplies for this class and your sewing machine in good working order. The class is $100.00 and that includes all fabric and batting to complete your project.
Tin Lizzie Anonymous; This class is free and available to all of the quilters who have taken the Tin Lizzie Class or purchased a Tin Lizzie from the shop. We use this time to help each other with technique, new tools and practice.
Saturday Sampler; This group meets the first Saturday of every month at 12:00. Stay for our presentation and get a quilt block each month. Bring your quilt block finished the next month and your next block is free.
Holly Taylor Club. If you enjoy working with this amazing artist's fabric then this is the group for you. We meet the first Saturday of every month at 1:00. Join group projects, share ideas, fabric and lots of fun!
