Custom Quilting

Owner, Debra Pavelka, is an experienced long arm quilter and has brought her personal Gammill to the shop to offer a wide range of custom quilting options.  Select from available patterns or work with Debra to develop a customized pattern that enhances the beauty and workmanship of your quilt top or a variety of free hand quilting patterns can be done for minimal cost.

Quilting Services - Pricing

Our base charge for quilting is .014 cents per square inch, plus a minimal thread charge.  In other words, take your width times your length times .014 equals the charge for quilting. The additional thread fee is $10.00 for a large quilt or $5.00 for a baby quilt.  Custom quilting services start at .02 cents per square inch and go up from there. 

Additionally, we have a Janome Artistic Quilter 18.  We are a dealer for TIn Lizzie and for the Janome Artisitic Quilter 18.  We sell the machines as well as rent them by the hour.  You must take a class first.  The class cost is $50.00 and includes all materials.  We teach basic meadering and cursive writing with the machine and a few other techniques.  You can then rent the machine for $10.00 per hour plus the same thread charge.  Imagine having control of how your quilt is quilted.  And YOU DID IT!!!  Additionally, we teach an advanced class for $25.00 to teach how to load and set up a pantograph and the boards that work with a stylist for quilting patterns.
