Winter 2009 Newsletter
Starting in January we will have individual classes as requested by our customers. You can have class by yourself or get together some friends. Tell us what you would like to learn and we will do our best to accommodate you or your group.
Our Saturday Sampler program for this year is full. For all of our SS members please remember to meet here on the first Saturday of every month at 12:00 for our presentation and to pick up next months block.
June 25th, 26th and 27th, Gone Quiltin's first annual quilting retreat at the Deep Woods Retreat Center in Smithville Texas. $85.00 per night. Retreat center can accomodate 24 quilters. Sign up to reserve your space.
2011 Saturday Sampler program will be a western themed quilt.
February 26th will be another all day Sew-in from 9-4. $5.00 is the cost. Lunch will be served.
There are many new items in the shop and lots of new quilt samples. We are now carrying large Dill Buttons in wood and leather that are great for bags and jackets.
Just arrived the entire line of Holly Taylor's Creekside Trail Flannels and Northwoods Retreat in Cotton. Stop in to see the amazing samples we have made up using these gorgeous new fabrics.
We also have tons of the new Moda Bluebonnet line including the Jelly Rolls, Charms and layer cakes. Moda's new Western Line Rawhide is now available along with Spring Fever.
Have you seen all the quilt kits we have put together? Is there a kit you are looking for and can't find, we will put it together for you. Our first ever RV line has arrived. We have a Happy Camper Quilt made up with kits available. There is a great new Children's Alphabet line complete with jelly rolls.
There are 12 new AccuQuilt Go! dies available in the shop. There are new Christmas and Baby Applique dies along with Applecore and Drunkards path and 3" strips.
We have hired a new sewing machine service and repair technician. Ceasar has already started with us. He has many years of experience. Our low cleaning and repair prices will remain the same. We are still looking for an experienced long arm quilter that would like to teach an intermediate long arm quilting class.

Our new Texas Pride Quilt Pattern is now available. Yes, I finally finished it and had it printed. Show off your Texas Pride with this easy to make strip quilt. Kits are now available.
The Tin Lizzie 18 stippling foot and extension tray are now in stock and Zipper leads are on the way.
